Cobb, while the an authorities inspector, and up the score . Whilst the spot employs a familiar pattern, the fresh characterizations is actually fresh and the activities good enough so you’re able to overbalance. Evelyn Keyes takes on the good nothing woman which brings forth the new finest in him and Ellen Received ‘s the sleek and you may slinky vixen just who becomes him towards the jams. Thomas Gomez was fatty since villain and you can Lee J. Cobb does another able trip once the an exhausted cops inspector exactly who ultimately closes the situation.
